Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Wizzfix’s services, including repairs, trade-ins, and related offerings. By availing our services, you agree to comply with these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Repair Services
1.1 These Terms apply to the repair service (“Service”) provided by Wizzfix for your electronic devices, including smartphones, tablets, computers, and accessories.
1.2 By signing the service check-in form, you, the customer (“Customer”), acknowledge your agreement to these Terms.
2. General Terms
2.1 This Agreement begins when you sign the service check-in form and continues until we complete the repair or return your device, whichever comes first, and receive the applicable payment.
2.2 We will make reasonable efforts to repair your device using our expertise and care. The availability of parts and any relevant guarantees or warranties may impact the repair process.
2.3 Wizzfix offers high-quality after-market and OEM (genuine) parts for device repairs. For Apple devices, we also provide genuine Apple parts, ensuring safety and reliability.
2.4 To perform the service properly, we may require access to your device through a PIN or passcode. This enables us to conduct comprehensive tests before and after the repair. Rest assured that your privacy and personal information are protected.
2.5 Repair time estimates provided are for guidance purposes only and do not constitute an obligation. We strive to return your device as quickly as possible, but certain repairs, such as Board Level repairs, may take longer.
2.6 If we are unable to complete the service or if additional costs arise, we will promptly inform you via phone and/or email. If no fault is found or you decline our revised estimate, we reserve the right to charge a diagnostic fee.
2.7 While we take precautions during repairs, we are not liable for any pre-existing damage or issues that may arise during the repair process. We do not cover the cost of replacement parts for devices deemed unrepairable.
2.8 Repair costs are determined based on our standard charges, which may vary depending on the device model, type, and age. We may offer promotional discounts and deals to provide you with the best value.
3. Warranty
3.1 We provide warranties for our repairs, covering most parts against failure. However, liquid damage or accidental damage are not covered under warranty.
3.2 The warranty is linked to the specific device and customer. It covers the reoccurrence of the original fault and the repaired or replaced parts. The warranty does not extend to additional faults or if the device changes ownership.
3.3 Warranty repairs do not cover any additional travel, postage, or courier costs incurred.
4. Trade-In
4.1 By trading in your device, you consent to Wizzfix using your information for the trade-in and unlocking process.
4.2 You confirm that you are the owner of the device or have obtained express permission from the rightful owner to trade it in.
4.3 The quoted trade-in value is determined based on the make and model of the device. Certain exclusions and conditions may apply.
4.4 Prior to trade-in, remove any SIM cards, accessories, and personal data. We are not liable for any loss or damage to data or SIM cards.
4.5 Depending on the trade-in method (in-store, online, or telephone), different payment options and processes apply. Returned devices will not be returned under any circumstances.
5. Liability
5.1 Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to re-performing the service or refunding the amount paid for the service, at our discretion.
5.2 We are not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential loss arising from our services, including loss of business, revenue, profits, or any other damage.
5.3 We are not liable for any claim unless you provide written notice within three months of becoming aware of the circumstances giving rise to the claim.
6. Data Protection
6.1 We handle your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
7. General Terms
7.1 We shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
7.2 Our failure to enforce any rights or provide forbearance, delay, or indulgence does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
7.3 This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and us regarding its subject matter and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings.
7.4 Any amendments or modifications to this Agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties.
7.5 If any part of this Agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable, it will be severed while the remaining terms remain valid.
7.6 These Terms do not confer any rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
7.7 These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Wizzfix operates, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
8. Declaration and Agreement
By signing the Service Consent, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions. You acknowledge the condition of your device as communicated and recorded by Wizzfix. Upon collection, you agree to inspect the repaired device and raise any concerns with our team. We are committed to providing assistance and resolving any issues to your satisfaction.
9. Backorder Deposit
9.1 If a repair requires parts that are not immediately available, we may need to order them from our central warehouse or suppliers. In such cases, we may require a non-refundable Backorder Deposit.
9.2 The Backorder Deposit is non-refundable, except in situations where we are unable to fulfill the backordered parts required for your repair.
9.3 The total deposit value will be deducted from the total repair cost if the repair is successful. If the repair is deemed beyond economical repair, Wizzfix reserves the right to retain the non-refundable deposit.
10. Damage during Repair
10.1 If we damage your device during the repair process, we will resolve the issue by replacing the damaged part with our own high-quality parts. We reserve the right to use non-OEM genuine part replacements unless otherwise stated. By agreeing to our repair services, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
11. Trade-In Terms
11.1 When trading in your device, you acknowledge that Wizzfix may use your information for the trade-in and related processes. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.
11.2 By providing us with your device for trade-in, either in-store, online, or by telephone, you accept these Trade-In Terms and Conditions.
11.3 Ensure that the device is not stolen or listed as stolen with us or any third party. We will perform checks using CheckMEND to trace stolen or missing property. If the device fails the check, we may notify the relevant authorities and withhold the trade-in value.
11.4 The device must not have been purchased from Wizzfix within the previous 30 days.
11.5 The quoted trade-in value will be determined based on the device’s make and model.
11.6 If the device contains a SIM card, it must be removed along with any accessories before trade-in. We are not liable for any consequences related to SIM cards or accessories, including associated payments.
11.7 Back up your data and remove any memory cards before trade-in. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or erasure of data or memory cards.
11.8 Depending on the trade-in method, payment options may vary. Returned devices will not be returned under any circumstances.
12. Limitation of Liability
12.1 Our liability for any claim arising from this Agreement is limited, as described in Section 4.1.
12.2 We are not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential loss or damage.
12.3 We are not liable for any claim unless you provide written notice within the specified timeframe.
13. Data Protection
13.1 We collect and process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
14. General Terms
14.1 We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our control.

14.7 These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Wizzfix operates, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
15. Service Warranty
15.1 Wizzfix provides a warranty for repairs and parts subject to the terms outlined in the Warranty Table below.
15.2 The warranty covers parts against failure but does not cover liquid damage or accidental damage.
15.3 The Warranty is specific to the device’s unique IMEI or serial number and the customer’s records on our system. It covers the reoccurrence of the original fault and the replaced/repaired part only. Additional faults or issues are not covered under this Warranty. The warranty does not extend to accidental damage, nor does it transfer if the device changes ownership.
15.4 Warranty repairs do not cover any additional travel, postage, or courier costs incurred.
15.5 All repairs carried out by Wizzfix are subject to warranty seals. Any tampering or removal of these seals will void the warranty attached to the device.
16. Liquid Damage Repair and Warranty
16.1 If your device has undergone liquid damage repair, we recommend monitoring it closely as unforeseen issues may arise shortly after treatment, which are beyond our control.
16.2 Should any further issues related to liquid damage occur during the warranty period, we will reassess and provide a new quote for the necessary work. We also offer a full refund of all payments made for the repairs, excluding the diagnostic fee, if you choose this option.
16.3 Please note that following repair, we cannot guarantee water resistance or waterproofing of the device.
17. Battery Replacement and Device Functionality
17.1 If you proceed with a battery replacement repair on iPhone X or later models, an important display message will appear on the lock screen for up to 48 hours after the battery replacement. The ability to view battery health within the settings will also be removed. By agreeing to the battery replacement, you acknowledge and accept these changes to your device’s functionality.
18. Promotional Offers and Discounts
18.1 Wizzfix may offer special promotions or discounts from time to time. Only one promotional discount can be applied at a time, subject to management discretion. All valid discounts and promotions must be applied at the point of sale.
18.2 For trade-in promotions, specific terms and exclusions may apply. Please refer to the relevant offer details for more information.
19. Device Packaging and Refunds
19.1 For courier repairs, Wizzfix will provide packaging for the return journey to customers. However, it is the customer’s responsibility to securely pack the devices before collection by the courier service provider.
19.2 If you request a refund for a repair, we reserve the right to reverse the completed repair and retain necessary parts for the refund process. We cannot guarantee the return of the original part, but we will provide a similar replacement in a comparable condition. By requesting a refund, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
20. Non-Refundable Backorder Deposit
20.1 In situations where parts need to be ordered for a repair, a non-refundable Backorder Deposit may be required. This deposit is only refundable if Wizzfix is unable to fulfill the backordered parts for the repair.
20.2 Only one non-refundable Backorder Deposit will be charged per repair appointment.
21. Amendments and Withdrawal
21.1 Wizzfix reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or withdraw any offers at any time. Changes will be published on our website.
21.2 These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
22.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Wizzfix operates. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
23. Liability and Limitation
23.1 Wizzfix’s liability in respect of any single cause of action arising from this Agreement, whether for breach of contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or otherwise, shall be limited to the following options at our sole discretion:
a) Re-performing the Service
b) Payment of the cost for re-performing the Service
c) Repayment of the amount paid by you for the Service, in exchange for returning your device to a similar condition as it was received
23.2 If your device is damaged beyond economical repair as a direct result of a service or repair performed by Wizzfix, you are entitled to a fully functional refurbished device of equal value based on its model and condition, with the original repair issue resolved. To receive a replacement device, full payment for the repair service must have been received, and the damaged device must be surrendered to Wizzfix. Your original device will be retained by Wizzfix, and the replacement device may take up to 10 working days to be provided, although efforts will be made to provide a replacement sooner.
23.3 Any data or information stored on the device remains your sole responsibility, and Wizzfix accepts no liability for the loss or corruption of such data, regardless of the cause. We strongly recommend that you back up your device onto an external drive before availing of our services.
23.4 In the event that your device is lost or stolen while in the possession of Wizzfix, we will notify you promptly and make arrangements to replace the device with a similar model within a reasonable period. If an exact replacement is not available, we will offer an alternative device with a similar specification and condition.
23.5 Wizzfix shall not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential loss or damage arising out of or in connection with this Agreement. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of business, revenue, profits, anticipated savings, goodwill, or any other indirect or consequential loss or damage.
23.6 Wizzfix shall not be liable for any claims arising under this Agreement unless you provide written notice of the claim within three months of becoming aware of the circumstances giving rise to the claim or, if earlier, three months from the time you ought reasonably to have become aware of such circumstances.
23.7 Nothing in this clause shall limit or exclude Wizzfix’s liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, breach of any terms implied by statute, any claim arising under the Consumer Protection Act 1987, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
24. Data Protection
24.1 We collect your personal information, including name, address, telephone number, email address, and device details, in order to provide the Service and communicate with you effectively. We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be found on our website.
25. General
25.1 Wizzfix shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under this Agreement due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
25.2 Failure by Wizzfix to exercise or enforce any rights or provisions of this Agreement shall not constitute a waiver of such rights or provisions.
25.3 This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Wizzfix regarding the Service and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings.
25.4 This Agreement may not be amended, modified, varied, or supplemented except in writing signed by both parties.
25.5 If any part of this Agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed from the rest of the Agreement, which shall remain valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
25.6 These Terms and Conditions do not confer any rights on third parties under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
25.7 This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Wizzfix operates, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
26. Declaration
By signing the Service Consent, you certify that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement. You acknowledge the condition of your device as communicated to you and recorded in our database. Upon collection, you agree to inspect the device and raise any concerns regarding the repair with a member of our team. We are committed to providing the best possible service, and if the repair has not been carried out to your satisfaction, we will make every effort to assist you.

28. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Wizzfix reserves the right to update, modify, or change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services after any changes have been made constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms and conditions.
29. Severability
If any provision of these terms and conditions is deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
30. Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Wizzfix operates. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
31. Entire Agreement
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Wizzfix regarding the repair service and supersede any prior agreements, understandings, or representations.
