Overview:
The quote provided is based on accurate and truthful information provided by you. We reserve the right to modify or cancel the offer if the device is not accurately described.
We are not responsible for any loss or damage to the device during transit. Please contact your chosen courier regarding their claim policy.
We have the right to withhold payment and dispose of devices listed as lost, stolen, insurance claimed, or blocked on the CheckMend website. Such devices may be reported to the authorities. If your device falls under any of these categories, we can return it to you at your expense. We do not offer free returns and can only ship within the UK.
The quoted price is valid until the specified date. After that, the price may change based on the current market value, and we reserve the right to adjust it. Devices received after the specified date will no longer be offered the original price, and a new offer based on the current market value will be provided.
The device must be free of iCloud and passwords. If the device is locked to iCloud or password-protected, its evaluation may be delayed, but the original offer validity date will still apply. If the device becomes unlocked after the offer validity date, the offer may change, and we reserve the right to modify it.
Please ensure that you remove all SIM cards from the phone, as we cannot return them.
We will communicate with you via email to confirm the price, whether it’s the quoted price or adjusted after testing the device. Please reply to the email to accept the quote and specify the preferred payment method. If the offer is not accepted within 7 working days, it will be automatically accepted on your behalf. If you decline the offer, the device can be returned to you, with a delivery time of 7 working days.
All devices must pass our 70-point software check to be eligible for trade-in.
Please make sure you are willing to send the phone to us and that you have the right to do so.
1.0 Functionality:

Good:
– The handset powers on and functions properly.
– No cracks, chips, dents, scuffs, LCD screen burn, or pressure marks.
– The screen may have up to 3 light scratches.
– The housing may have up to 6 light scratches.
– The housing, camera lens, and rear glass housing must not be cracked or chipped.
– Face ID, Touch ID, home button, and NFC must be functional.
– Battery health must be above 85% of the original manufacture (no non-genuine battery message).
– Not liquid damaged.
– Removed from any iCloud/Samsung/Google Accounts.
Poor:
– The handset powers on and functions properly.
– No cracks, chips, LCD screen burn, or pressure marks.
– 3 or more scratches on the screen.
– 6 or more scratches on the housing.
– The housing, camera lens, and rear glass housing must not be cracked or chipped.
– Light scuffs, dents, and missing paint.
– Face ID, Touch ID, home button, and NFC must be functional.
– Battery health must be above 80% of the original manufacture (no non-genuine battery message).
– Not liquid damaged.
– Removed from any iCloud/Samsung/Google Accounts.
Faulty:
– The device must power on; we do not accept non-functional devices.
– The handset is not fully functional.
– Cracked or chipped screen, LCD screen burn, or pressure marks.
– Cracked housing, rear camera lens, or rear glass housing.
– Face ID, Touch ID, home button, or NFC not working.
– Liquid damage.
– Battery health is below 80% of the original manufacture.
– Removed from any iCloud/Samsung/Google Accounts.
– Devices with more than 2 faults will be re-evaluated.
– Please note: We cannot purchase devices that are missing components, bent, or blacklisted.
Network:
– Unlocked: The device works with any network.
– Locked: The device is locked to EE, O2, Orange, Three, T-Mobile, Virgin, Tesco, Giff Gaff, Sky, ID, or another UK network.
2.0 Pricing Offer:
Prices listed on our website are subject to change without notice. However, we will always provide a genuine reason in the unlikely event of such changes.
All prices include VAT or other applicable taxes, such as VAT Margin scheme.
Once your order is placed, the quoted prices are guaranteed for 14 days from the order date. If we receive your devices after 14 days, the current prices will apply.
Devices with more than 2 faults will be re-evaluated.
2.1 Rejected Offers:
If you decline an adjusted offer, we will return your device/s. Please allow 2-3 working days for the return process. If the return attempt fails, you must contact The iOutlet to arrange delivery at your own cost. If there is no contact within 14 days, we will automatically process your payment at the adjusted price.
2.2 Payments:
We offer bank transfer or iOutlet Store Credit as payment options. You need to select a payment option at the time of trade-in/sale, and it cannot be changed once the order is placed to prevent fraud.
Once we receive your items, we will verify that they match the provided description and meet our terms and conditions. If they do, we will make payment via bank transfer or iOutlet Store Credit on the same day of receipt (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). Same-day payment does not apply to items received after 2 pm, as processing time may be insufficient.
2.3 Bank Transfer Payments:
Bank transfer payments will only be made to the account details provided during the online order. We cannot recall or reissue bank transfer payments once they have been made, under any circumstances.
3.0 Postage & Packaging:
We offer a no-cost Royal Mail tracked service for posting up to 2 phones or devices at a time.
Phones and devices must be properly packaged with appropriate protection, such as bubble wrap or relevant packaging for fragile items.
Using our free Royal Mail label covers up to £100. If you want additional cover, you can use your own courier and chosen insurance when sending the item to us. Please include your order confirmation for easy identification.

4.0 Events Outside Our Control:
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under a contract if it is caused by events outside our reasonable control or compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
5.0 Activation Locks:
If your device is activation locked, we will contact you with instructions on how to remove the lock. If you fail to respond within 7 days, we will return the device. If the return attempt fails, you must contact The iOutlet to arrange delivery at your own cost. If there is no contact within 14 days, we will automatically process the order at the amended price of £0 for activation locked phones
6.0 Data Risks and Precautions:
By sending your device to us, you agree to release us from any claims, losses, or damages related to the device, including any data stored or contained therein or on any media used with the device. We are not responsible for the security, protection, confidentiality, or use of such data. It is your responsibility to remove data from the device

We do not assume responsibility for the security, protection, confidentiality, or use of such data. It is your responsibility to ensure, to the best of your ability, that all data is removed from the device before sending it to us. 6.1 SIM Card Removal:
Please make sure to remove your SIM card before sending us your device. We cannot be held liable for any charges incurred if a SIM card is sent with the device.
7.0 Lost and Stolen Devices:
Selling a mobile phone or device that you do not own may constitute a criminal offense. The iOutlet adheres to the ‘Stop Stolen Mobiles Being Recycled’ code of practice set by the Home Office and the National Mobile Phone Crime Unit. We will check the IMEI/Serial number of all mobile phones and devices received against a national database of lost and stolen property records to avoid purchasing lost or stolen items whenever possible.

8.0 Business / Bulk Trade-Ins:
Our recycling service is primarily intended for public and private use. While we welcome business trade-ins, we reserve the right to terminate any trade-ins involving three or more devices originating from another business or competitor if we deem it necessary. Similarly, we also reserve the right to terminate trade-ins involving more than three devices from a single customer or suspected linked customers within a period of 7 days. In such cases, the device(s) will be returned to you at your own expense.
9.0 Non-Original Parts:
We retain the right to reject devices equipped with non-original batteries, screens, or backs.
